Prefab 77
Prefab77 is a collective of artists based in the North East of England. From an area steeped in a volatile history of unions, struggles and movements Prefab77 create fast, hard-edged, stripped down artwork; often political, sometimes anti-establishment, always beautiful. Weaving small pieces of modern popular culture, vintage NME headlines, pure British rock ‘n’ rebellion into traditional iconic imagery. Their work has never felt so relevant as it does now, media coverage of student riots, Hung parliaments and rising taxes have brought their themes and subject matter to life.
His highly stylised work and unique style has proven popular with both national and international collectors including a number of celebrities and Premier League footballers.
